As Melbourne Food & Wine Festival marks its 30 years anniversary, the 2022 program will launch with the World’s Longest Lunch and Brunch at the Treasury Gardens. It will switch gears to other highlight events throughout late March and early April, ranging from a family-friendly pasta festa and an epic celebration of the hot chip to a rock ’n’ roll showcase of plant-based eating and drinking, plus guest-chef series featuring some of the most exciting talent in Australia. Appetite satisfied, kick on to one of Melbourne’s vibrant live music venues.
Trip the light fantastic at well-loved city venues like Cherry Bar and The Toff in Town, or head out to Melbourne’s lively neighbourhoods for late-night revelry in Brunswick, Fitzroy or Collingwood. Wind through Queen Victoria Market to discover fresh produce, great coffee, food, souvenirs, and clothing. Drop into String Bean Alley to browse its creative collection of unique wares. The Festival also takes up residence at Queen Victoria Market (QVM) with three weeks of special events, a retail pop-up, workshops, and free demonstrations featuring some of our finest culinary talent.
