Vaibhav Gaur is from a modest middle-class household. He has always been a huge dance admirer and always dreamed of becoming a choreographer. However, he did not anticipate that his family would be as supportive of his work in dance and choreography.
When he lived in Ahmedabad, he frequently attended a gym where he observed a group of people performing dance moves in a single batch. Later, he learned that the group was a unique Zumba and Aerobics batch, and he joined it after his trainer noticed his love of dance. Vaibhav’s trainer instructed him to be in the front row after noticing how swiftly and accurately he was catching steps. Later, after receiving advice to become a trainer for Zumba and Aerobics, he completed a certification program and began working as a weekend coach for both disciplines.
The knack for computer and the nitty-gritty of it
Vaibhav was in third grade when he went to the computer lab for the first time, and he thought the machines were eccentric. He was blown away when he worked with MS Dos commands and other tools. He began to take that subject seriously, and over time he learned a variety of skills ranging from the fundamentals to the advanced level. While playing video games as a child, he was always curious about how they worked, how they stored data, and how they functioned on commands. He began learning computer languages such as HTML and PHP at an early age. Later on, he began to learn about hacking as well.
His tough days
During his higher schooling days, he decided to pursue a career in the computer science field. His hometown had no such facility or engineering colleges.
In between his mother got a brain tumour, and the whole family was upset with this critical medical emergency. His father started taking care of his mother for full time. Along with engineering studies, Vaibhav started working with dance studios and taking classes for computer subject to get part time income so that he can spend time with his passion for dance too. Later he completed his engineering and joined an IT company and worked there as a software engineer for a couple of years.
Turning point in Vaibhav’s career
When Vaibhav was working as a software engineer, he got an offer from Reliance Entertainment and he grabbed it and joined Reliance.
While he was working on his profile then suddenly one day he noticed that one team is working on some unique role and had regular and direct contact with celebrities for some work. He tried to learn about that work and came to know that they were in the film marketing department. The word film marketing was new to him and he comprehended that work and found that extremely interesting. He observed the team regularly. When he used to meet his colleagues – Harshit Desai and Fatima Nagree, they used to share their expertise with Vaibhav.
Vaibhav’s entry to Reliance Entertainment as a marketing mastermind
Reliance Entertainment had an opening for an intern in the film department, and he quickly applied for it because he was looking for a chance to work in the film marketing industry. Vaibhav met Mr. Sameer Chopra after Fatima assisted him in connecting with his key authority. Vaibhav began his film marketing career with “Simmba,” and Vaibhav’s efforts were recognised by his team.
Throughout his career, he worked on numerous projects and earned the trust of his team. His last project was a movie “83” with Reliance Entertainment and later he joined “Max Marketing” a few months ago.
He enjoys film marketing since he is constantly learning new things every day, minute by minute. He believes it is a field in which he may enjoy especially the problem solving, as he feels it to be similar like solving mathematical problems. On a regular basis, he obtains new concepts and ideas from his colleagues.
People who influenced Vaibhav’s life
Throughout his journey, he met several people who had really supported him. He knows that it’s a long list, but to name a few, he mentioned Devang Sanghvi, Navin sir and Mourieen Simon aka the Zumba Queen, Harshit Desai, Fatima Nagree for his exotic career in Film Marketing. His HR Mr. Sandeep Mandavkar at Reliance Entertainment had guided him to pursue an MBA in Marketing, alongwith Varun Gupta – Director of Max Marketing and Sameer Chopra – VP, Reliance Entertainment .
Vaibhav loves to keep it healthy
Vaibhav is a foodie who enjoys sampling delectable vegetarian cuisine. He abstains from smoking and alcohol. He enjoys travelling and discovering new locations. Dance is his all-time favourite hobby.
Vaibhav’s current interest in Astrology and Numerology
A few years ago, he realised that the topic of “Solar System” during school days had a significant impact on human lives and influenced him. So he started to learn about Astrology and, later, Numerology. He practices Astrology and Numerology in his circle, and many of his contacts now seek the assistance of Vaibhav in the astrological and numerology fields. Vaibhav enjoys assisting his contacts and learning new things about the area, but he has no plans to become professionally involved in it. He just practice it out of passion and wants to keep it that way.
Vaibhav’s future dreams
In the future, he hopes to establish one studio for numerous solutions under one roof. He dreams it to be in the similar one like Yash Raj Films and Dharma Entertainment, where he can assemble a competent team for content, media, marketing, production, and other film-related services.

To handle stress as a marketing personnel in the film industry, it’s crucial to establish open communication channels with team members, allowing for sharing of concerns and collaborative problem-solving. Implementing effective time management strategies, setting realistic deadlines, and prioritizing tasks can help alleviate stress. Additionally, promoting work-life balance and providing opportunities for self-care, such as regular breaks, exercise, and mindfulness activities, can contribute to reducing stress levels and maintaining overall well-being in a fast-paced environment.
