- Please tell us how the story of Suhaagan develops after the 10-year leap.
Raghav Thakur (Krishna) | Anshula Dhawan (Payal) | Garima Kishnani (Bindiya)
A – After the leap, the story of the two sisters undergoes a whirlwind of changes. Bindiya is working hard as an agriculturalist, while Payal is in her second year at a college in Lucknow. Unlike Bindiya, Payal is embarrassed about her family background, and she is in a secret relationship with Krishna. Their lives get complicated as Bindiya marries Krishna in a turn of events. The destinies of Bindiya and Payal’s love lives are intertwined, and their future remains uncertain as Payal, weaves a tangled web of lies in order to become Krishna’s lawful wife.
- Please tell us something about your character.
Garima Kishnani (Bindiya)
A-Bindiya’s childhood experiences have shaped her personality as an adult. She is a cheerful multitasker and an unpolished diamond. She is deeply rooted in traditions in both her appearance and mannerisms. She celebrates all the festivals and rituals and her faith in Mata Rani is unshakeable. She dotes on her younger sister Payal and believes that her success will be a big win for the entire family. Simple-minded and gullible, she spreads happiness, and she is loved by the people of her village.
Anshula Dhawan (Payal)
A- I am essaying the role of a 21-year-old Payal in Suhaagan. Payal is in her second year at a college in Lucknow. She is very self-conscious and is embarrassed about her family background. This is why she weaves a web of lies about her parents and upbringing and creates a facade to fit in. She is in a secret relationship with a wealthy boyfriend (Krishna). Her most prominent trait is that she knows how to get her way in any situation.
Raghav Thakur (Krishna)
A- I’m essaying the character of a rich spoilt brat Raghav Thakur. He wants to live carefree and wants to avoid the responsibility of running his family business. He is trapped in a cycle of idleness and dependence. He’s the archetype of a directionless individual as he refuses to work and spends time with his girlfriend and friends.
