Ahmedabad, September 2025: This Navratri will be truly special for expectant couples in Ahmedabad, as the city is set to host the first-ever “Garbh Sampada Poojan and Garba Festival.” The grand event, organized by Divine Mother, will be held on the first night of Navratri, September 22, at Jodhpur Community Hall in Satellite. The initiative is designed to offer expectant mothers spiritual peace, a deeper connection with tradition, and a joyful cultural experience.
The event will feature Garbh Sanskar Poojan, bringing a sense of calm and positivity, along with light and pregnancy-safe garba steps that let mothers celebrate culture safely. Families can also enjoy live music, fun games, memorable photography, and a specially curated selfie booth. To ensure comfort and safety, the program will take place in an air-conditioned hall, with gynecologists and a medical team present on-site. Participation will be limited to 200–250 couples to maintain a safe and relaxed environment.
Founded in 2016 by Dr. Anushree Shah (Gynecologist and Garbh Sanskar Expert), Divine Mother works with a mission to enrich motherhood by providing physical, mental, and emotional support to pregnant women. Through initiatives such as Garbh Sanskar workshops, parenting sessions, and the Pregabliss Baby Bond Activity Box, the organization connects mothers with values, music, and mindful activities.
Speaking about this unique initiative, Dr. Anushree Shah said, “Motherhood is not just a journey—it is a celebration. By blending the traditions of Navratri with the philosophy of Garbh Sanskar, our aim is to create memorable moments filled with positivity, music, and culture for expectant mothers.”
This is the first time Ahmedabad will witness such a unique celebration, and Divine Mother is committed to organizing similar pregnancy-safe cultural events regularly in the future.
