Ahmedabad: The year 2026 is set to begin with a bang for the Gujarati film industry with a gripping suspense thriller. Directed by Abhinay Deshmukh and produced under the banner of ‘AMP Studio Productions,’ in association with Avirat Pictures, Kalaansh Creatives, Pam Studio, Kanak Pictures, and Vision Movie Makers, the official trailer for the film ‘Paatki’ has been released.
The film stars the talented actress Shraddha Dangar and renowned actor Gaurav Paswala in lead roles. It is produced by Divyesh Doshi, Aalap Kikani, Nrupal Patel, Anand Khamar, and Raju Raisinghani. Alongside the leads, the film features a stellar supporting cast including Suchita Trivedi, Hiten Tejwani, Ujwal Dave, Karan Joshi, and Akash Zala.

Storyline: The film explores a chilling premise: “A man is innocent until proven guilty, but what if he is truly guilty and yet proven innocent?” Manav (Gaurav Paswala) is an ambitious yet grounded corporate professional whose life seems perfect. His wife, Nitya (Shraddha Dangar), is his strength, and they share a blissful marriage. However, Manav’s dream world suddenly shatters. Amidst the ensuing chaos, Manav holds himself responsible for the events. Overwhelmed by guilt, he decides to surrender to the police, but the story takes a bizarre turn when every piece of evidence contradicts his confession. As he gets trapped in a whirlwind of self-doubt, the truth begins to unravel. ‘Paatki’ reflects the duality of human nature—that we are all innocent at one level and guilty at another.
Speaking at the trailer launch, Shraddha Dangar said, “The story of this film is very unique and challenging. Audiences will see me in a completely new avatar.” Gaurav Paswala added, “‘Paatki’ touches a new level of suspense in Gujarati cinema. My role is of a man fighting against his own reality.”
