Ahmedabad, August 24 – The Yonex–Sunrise Gujarat State Badminton Championship 2025, organized by Blackk& One Sports Foundation under the aegis of the Ahmedabad District Badminton Association and Gujarat Badminton Association, concluded today at the Blackk& One Badminton Academy, located in the Eklavya Sports Complex, Ahmedabad.
Held from August 19th to 24th, the championship witnessed spirited participation from 600 young shuttlers across Gujarat, competing in Under-13, Under-15, and Under-17 categories in Boys’ Singles, Girls’ Singles, and Mixed Doubles.
In a statement, Mr. Jitendra Yadav, Founder of Blackk& One Sports Foundation, said, “This championship not only showcased the exceptional talent emerging from Gujarat but also set a new benchmark in tournament standards. For the first time in the state, we introduced the Service Judging Equipment used at international tournaments, bringing global-level infrastructure to grassroots badminton.”
Blackk& One Sports Foundation, Ahmedabad’s largest private badminton academy, features five international-standard courts, making it a fitting venue for a tournament of this caliber.
