Thousands of people across Gujarat have applied to free themselves from loans under the ongoing “Karza Mukti Campaign.” The campaign, which started in July 2022, has now spread across the entire state. So far, more than 1.5 lakh people have applied for debt forgiveness.
At a press conference held in Ahmedabad, the organizers announced that all applicants will receive their Debt Relief Certificates on October 31, 2025, at 9 a.m. at the Riverfront Ground in Ahmedabad. It is worth mentioning that Shahnawaz Chaudhary Bharatiya gave special information about this event. Rajeshwar Brahmabhatt, Rajeshwar Brahmbhatt Bharatiya is working in Gujarat state.
After receiving the certificate, applicants can submit it to their banks, recovery agents, moneylenders, or the concerned institutions to help speed up their debt relief process. They can also show the certificate along with their loan documents as proof.
Campaign representative Shahnawaz Chaudhary said, “If big industrialists can get loan waivers, then why not common people? Many small traders and middle-class families have faced financial problems due to demonetization, GST, and the lockdown. Such people deserve relief from their loans. Families of borrowers who have passed away should not be forced out of their homes or properties. If full loan waiver isn’t possible, at least interest relief should be given.”
He further said, “The Karza Mukti Campaign is a people’s movement meant to help ordinary citizens come out of debt. It’s not a political or government initiative, but a public effort to support people’s financial recovery.”
