November, 2025 – The 150-year global celebration of Arya Samaj witnessed deeply inspiring addresses by BAPS Swami Bhramviharidas and Swami Ramdev Ji, both of whom called upon followers to live the eternal Vedic ideals of truth, unity, and compassion in their lives.
Opening the session with sacred hymns, Swami Bhramviharidas expressed gratitude for his Gurus Swami Maharaj and Guru Hari Mohan Swami Maharaj, and acknowledged the presence of leaders and delegates from over forty countries. He reminded the audience that Arya Samaj’s celebration is not merely about 150 years of legacy but about embracing the immortal values of humanity and righteousness. He highlighted that Vedic wisdom is universal and can help eliminate negativity by inspiring friendship, courage, and self-awareness. Recounting the construction of the Abu Dhabi temple, he underlined how faith and perseverance can make the impossible possible.
A special conference on ‘Rishi Parampara and the Making of Swarnim Bharat’ reflected on how the wisdom of the seers continues to guide India’s path towards moral and cultural resurgence. International delegates representing Arya Pratinidhi Sabhas from the USA, Australia, and South Africa spoke on the global role Arya Samaj institutions play in transforming lives. Today, over 15,000 Arya Samaj organizations across continents continue Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s mission of spreading truth, education, and spiritual equality.
“At a time when the world stands at the crossroads of division and disillusionment, Arya Samaj stands as a lighthouse- illuminating humanity’s path with the wisdom of the Vedas,” said one of the international speakers. They emphasized that Arya Samaj is not confined by geography or religion but represents a movement for social reform, women’s dignity, and the eradication of ignorance. The Vedas, they said, are not relics of history but a living moral constitution for humanity.
In his powerful address, Swami Ramdev Ji paid rich tributes to Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, describing him as a yogi and visionary who revived Vedic knowledge and awakened national consciousness. Quoting devotional verses, he saluted Dayanand Ji’s unyielding courage, sacrifice, and his pivotal role in restoring pride in India’s spiritual and cultural identity. He particularly lauded Maharshi Dayanand’s efforts to uplift women through the Gurukul system and social reform, noting that his life was a beacon of truth, compassion, and selfless service.

Swami Ramdev Ji also highlighted the immense role of Arya Samaj in India’s freedom struggle and called it the spiritual backbone of the nation’s awakening. He said the legacy of the Gurukul education system – which once faced extinction under colonial rule, has been revived through relentless efforts of Arya Samaj saints and reformers like Swami Shraddhanand and Swami Darshanand. Their vision of blending Vedic and modern education paved the way for initiatives like the Bhartiya Shiksha Board, where Vedic wisdom and national pride now form part of the curriculum. “Arya Samaj has never been rigid or orthodox. It is a living movement that stands for knowledge, strength, and service to the nation,” he remarked.
He emphasized that true freedom extends beyond politics- it must include educational, cultural, and intellectual liberation from all forms of dependency and demoralization. Calling upon the community to dedicate their lives to realizing Maharshi Dayanand’s dream of an enlightened and self-reliant India, he said, “We are the torchbearers of Rishi tradition. Our duty is to live the values of truth, courage, and divinity in every action.”
The celebration also featured a moving street play by students of Gurukul highlighting the dangers of drug addiction and the need to protect youth from social evils. The day three of International Arya Maha Sammelan concluded with a pledge to uphold Arya Samaj’s mission of building a world guided by truth, equality, and the eternal light of the Vedas.
The day also saw deliberations on challenges faced by the country and how Arya Samaj can contribute.
The event will be come to close on November 2, 2025. Over 2,00,000 people have so far attended the mega event.
