Ahmedabad, November 2, 2025:The International Arya Maha Sammelan 2025 concluded today in New Delhi, marking the grand finale of a four-day global congregation that celebrated 150 years of Arya Samaj and commemorating over two centuriesof Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati’s vision. Held under the banner of Gyan Jyoti Parv, the event brought together over 2.5 lakh attendees and delegates from more than 30 countries, reflecting Arya Samaj’s enduring impact on humanity, reform, and education.
In his address, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Nayab Singh Saini, commended Arya Samaj for its extraordinary contribution to India’s social and spiritual evolution over the past 150 years.
“Arya Samaj has not only guided India’s conscience for a century and a half but has also given direction to its future,” said Shri Nayab Singh Saini. “Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati brought the wisdom of the Vedas back into the mainstream- at a time when society was gripped by superstition and inequality. He gave India the courage to challenge orthodoxy and the vision to build a just, knowledge-driven society. As we mark 150 years of Arya Samaj, its Vision 2075 reminds us to think 50 years ahead, to build a Bharat rooted in Vedic values and global in outlook.” He donated Rs 51 lakhs to the Sabha on the occasion.
Later in the day, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Culture, Shri Jaiveer Singh, addressed the congregation, praising Arya Samaj’s transformative work in education, women’s empowerment, and social reform. Shri Singh said, “Arya Samaj has been a torchbearer of reform, education, and equality. The Gurukul system revived by Maharshi Dayanand has given generations of disciplined, value-driven citizens to the nation. Haryana is proud to be home to many of these institutions that blend modern education with the eternal values of the Vedas. The future of Bharat lies in returning to these roots.”
In his concluding remarks, Shri S.K. Arya, Chairman, Gyan Jyoti Parv, thanked all dignitaries, delegates, and volunteers for making the Sammelan a historic success. Shri Arya said, “The International Arya Maha Sammelan 2025 is not the end of a celebration- it is the beginning of a new era. Our Vision 2050-2075 calls for a Vedic renaissance where truth, compassion, and knowledge guide global harmony. The last four days have shown that Arya Samaj’s message is not of the past, it is the foundation of the future. Together, we shall carry Maharshi Dayanand’s torch forward to build an enlightened and noble world.”
Over the past four days, the Sammelan featured 11,111 yajnas, the Arya Pragati Scholarship distribution worth ₹1.25 crore, global youth dialogues, women’s empowerment sessions, and cultural programs that showcased Arya Samaj’s 150-year journey of service, reform, and enlightenment. Addresses by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Swami Brahmaviharidas, Swami Ramdev Ji, and international Arya Sabha leaders from the USA, Australia, and South Africa further underscored the movement’s global vision and unity.
The event also hosted exhibitions and interactive pavilions highlighting Arya Samaj’s contributions to education, social reform, tribal upliftment, and Vedic research. Delegates reaffirmed their collective commitment to Arya Samaj’s guiding motto, “Krinvanto Vishwam Aryam”– Let us make the world noble.
As curtains fall on this landmark celebration, the Arya Samaj looks forward to its next 50 years with renewed determination- to continue building a world that is spiritually awakened, socially just, and universally harmonious.
