Ahmedabad, Gujarat : On the occasion of World Diabetes Day 2025, Team AURA PMT of Corona Remedies Limited, a renowned and trusted pharmaceutical company of India, headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, achieved a historic milestone by setting a New World Record for “Most People Screened for Diabetes in a Single Day.” On the occasion of the celebration of this World Record of India, Mr. Nirav K. Mehta, MD & CEO of Corona Remedies Limited; Dr. Kirtikumar Mehta, Chairman; and Mr. Paavan Solanki, Editor & Chief of World Records India were present and shared further details about the achievement.
Under the nationwide health initiative “PANDA STUDY” (Pan-India Assessment for Diabetes Awareness), Team AURA PMT successfully organized a Mass Awareness and Free Diabetes Screening Drive for citizens across India, aimed at promoting early detection, awareness, and preventive care for diabetes.
In this remarkable nationwide effort, 434 doctors from 233 locations across India collectively conducted 7,086 blood sugar screenings in a single day on 14th November 2025. This outstanding achievement has been officially confirmed and recognized by World Records India, establishing a new benchmark in large-scale public health screening initiatives.
