The ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 11, 2026, marking another significant milestone by the Sardardham organization in the fields of education and social service. Built at an estimated cost of ₹150 crore, this state-of-the-art facility features a massive hostel with a capacity for 2,000 students. The complex will be officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The event will also be graced by the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi Harsh Sanghavi. Official details were shared by Gagjibhai Sutariya (President), Dushyantbhai Patel (President, Central Gujarat Zone), Gordhanbhai Zadafia (Event In-charge), and Natubhai Patel (Vice President).
‘Sardardham-3’ in Vadodara is designed not merely as a hostel but as a comprehensive development center. The project emerges as a holistic hub, featuring a majestic statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the ‘Samaj Setu Bhavan’ as its primary attractions. Alongside the high-tech hostel and institute for 2,000 students, the complex includes a dedicated guest house for Trustees and NRIs. To foster educational and career growth, the center houses a GPSC/UPSC (Civil Services) Training Center, a Skill Development Center, and various subject-specific workshops. Furthermore, specialized training academies for Aviation, Defense, Judiciary, and Sports are integral parts of the campus.
To empower the youth and enhance employability, the facility hosts an I-Hub and Startup Support system, Hotel Management training, an Overseas Education Center, and a Personality Development Center. For professional assistance, it provides a GPBS/GPBO Business Center and hall, complemented by a CED-EDI Industrial Training Center. In alignment with social responsibility, the complex includes guidance cells for Revenue, Law, Social Security, and Women’s Safety, as well as an information center for various government welfare schemes.
The hostel will provide students with access to a library, reading rooms, and specialized study centers for competitive exams. Located in the educational hub of Vadodara, this facility is expected to be immensely beneficial for students from Central Gujarat and surrounding rural areas. Initiated in 2021, the project spans approximately 4.75 lakh square feet. This is the third grand and ultra-modern complex operated by the Patidar community in Gujarat, following the success of the first two Sardardham projects.
The inauguration ceremony is expected to draw an attendance of 45,000 to 50,000 people, with all arrangements made in accordance with the Prime Minister’s protocol. Representatives from various Patidar organizations across Gujarat and community leaders will be present to welcome and honor the Prime Minister on behalf of the entire Patidar community. This event stands as a symbol of the commitment to nation-building by empowering youth through education, values, organization, and self-reliance.
The grand event will take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, starting at 4:30 PM. The venue is the Sardardham-Central Gujarat premises, located near Waghodia Crossing on National Highway-48, adjacent to L&T Knowledge City, Vadodara.
