Surat, 26th October 2026: Celebrating the spirit of festive giving, gratitude and togetherness, Le Meridien Surat hosted an exclusive hamper unboxing experience on 23rd October 2026 as part of Diwali with Marriott Bonvoy – ‘Share the Light’.
Rooted in the belief that hospitality extends beyond the hotel’s doors, ‘Share the Light’ celebrates Diwali as a time to strengthen relationships, express appreciation and share moments of happiness. The initiative reflects Marriott Bonvoy’s spirit of bringing people together through experiences that create lasting connections, while offering a contemporary expression of India’s cherished festive traditions. The event commenced with a welcome and introduction to the campaign, followed by an unveiling of the Diwali hamper led by Ajita Italiya.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Manoj Jangid, General Manager, Le Meridien Surat, said, “Diwali is a celebration of light, gratitude and the relationships that enrich our lives. At Le Meridien Surat, we believe that hospitality is as much about the connections we nurture as it is about the experiences we create. Through ‘Diwali with Marriott Bonvoy – Share the Light’, we wanted to celebrate the joy of giving and extend the spirit of our hospitality beyond the hotel. The festive hamper represents a thoughtful gesture of appreciation, bringing people closer through the simple yet meaningful act of sharing.”
At the heart of the initiative is the thought that while Diwali illuminates homes and spaces, hospitality illuminates experiences and relationships. The festive hamper serves as an expression of this philosophy, extending the celebratory spirit of Le Meridien Surat to guests, partners, colleagues and well-wishers.
