This week, the TreeHouse chain of schools celebrated the festival of Krishna Janmashtami with great enthusiasm after nearly two years of pandemic-related restrictions. Says founder and educationist Rajesh Bhatia, “India has so many faiths and such beautiful diversity.
This is why our students celebrate all festivals with equal fervour. This year, their energy was even more exceptional because they were taking part in offline festivities for the first time in over two years.”
Children came dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha while mythological tales were narrated, skits and dance recitals staged, songs were sung and there was even a ‘Dahi Handi’ celebration in which older children took part.
