Vadodara, 7th Jan, 2023: The showstopper vintage fair, 21 Gun Salute Concours d’Elegance 2023, held in Vadodara Gujarat against the ideal old-world backdrop of Lukshmi Palace, evoked nostalgia and the right attention.
A grand cultural celebration, unique marques on exhibit, and much more! The second day of the 21-Gun Salute Concours d’Elegance 2023 Show was a genuinely exceptional motoring occasion. Embracing its rich legacy of heart-stirring exotic cars, the event was curated for vehicle aficionados and connoisseurs of culture from all over the world, This event, unlike any other in the country, showcased heritage motoring in every edition.
The visitors were stunned seeing the dance performances of Troup from the Sports, Youth & Culture Department, Government of Gujarat. Seeking blessings from the God the second day began with Ganesh Vandana followed by elegant classical dance performances of Gujarat i.e. Garba, Tribal Dance & Hudo were a sheer delight to watch.
The second day 21 Gun Salute Concours d’Elegance welcomed around 32,000 visitors from Vadodara & nearby places. Also many eminent guests & renowned personalities that included Mr. Pawan Munjal, Mr. Yohan Poonawalla, Mr. Harsh Pati Singhania, Mr. Gautam Singhania, Mr. Ravi Avalur and other esteemed members of the Royal Families of India, graced the event.
Every vintage and classic beauty on display at the show sparked the audience’s imagination, but the high-precision machinery from the past, which was reminiscent of a different century, found a fresh and unusual historical backdrop for exceptional harmonies.

Synergizing history, heritage & culture along with the rare collection of machines of yesteryears attracted many visitors from the city who enjoyed the grand festivity that showcased the rich Indian legacy & narrated a vintage car-fable at India’s most celebrated-historic site, The Lukshmi Vilas Palace- Vadodara.” said Mr. Madan Mohan, Founder and Managing Trustee of the 21 Gun Salute Heritage & Cultural Trust.
The event was a live opportunity to look into the evolution of motoring amidst the rich heritage of vintage machines that raced as a symbol of pride, luxury and rare technical excellence of their era.
The magnificent location, bursting with cultural aura, traditional Indian hospitality, and time-honored masterpieces, provided a superb celebration of the rich Indian culture while showcasing hand-picked motoring beauties that included 35 international connoisseurs judging the automotive entries, meet and greets with motoring legends, Guru Speaks Tech Talk, historic auctions, the Junior Concours Grand Prix.
