Ahmedabad, June 14th, 2023: Meesho, India’s only true e-commerce marketplace, announced that more than 155,000 small businesses from the state of Gujarat are now registered on the platform.
An increasing number of MSMEs from Gujarat have joined Meesho in the last couple of years as a result of the company’s industry-first initiatives such as zero commision. In 2022, the platform recorded a 25% increase in sellers onboarded from the state. Additionally, over 15,000 sellers have become lakhpatis from Gujarat so far.

The top categories preferred by suppliers in the region include home & kitchen, personal care & wellness, consumer electronics and fashion.
