COLORS’ ‘Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyag Tandav’ unfolds the universe’s first love saga of Lord Shiv (Ram Yashvardhan) and Goddess Parvati (Subha Rajput) and their journey of tap, tyag, and tandav. The plot takes a dramatic turn as the armies of Indra and Tarkasur fight on the battlefield. Meanwhile, Diti cunningly impedes Kartikeya’s progress towards the battleground and Tarkasur strategically deploys Shankhchud Dev and Rahu-Ketu to face Indra’s forces. In the heat of battle, Tarkasur disarms Indra and moves in for the capture. In a desperate plea for aid, Indra calls upon Kartikeya, and without hesitation, the latter responds by creating a protective circle of arrows around Indra, rendering Tarkasur unable to breach the formidable barrier.
The clash between Kartikeya and Tarkasur escalates, evolving from conventional weaponry to an intense duel of astra-shastra. Tarkasur, in a bold move, traps Kartikeya with a chain to subdue him. However, Kartikeya summons his immense strength, breaking free from the chains that bound him. In a surprising turn, Kartikeya retaliates using the same chain to vanquish Tarkasur. However, Tarkasur unleashes a mighty hammer, causing both him and the weapon to grow in size. Charging towards Kartikeya, Tarkasur seems unstoppable, but Kartikeya wields the Vel astra with precision and determination. In a swift and decisive move, Kartikeya strikes down Tarkasur, bringing an end to the battle.
