- Tell us something about the show? ‘Parineetii’ is the story of two best friends from Punjab, Parineet and Neeti , who live in Punjab, with a strong friendship that is unbreakable. However, the two have very different aspirations in their life. Parineet is very comfortable with her life in Punjab while Neeti is ambitious who is ready to leave her life behind and move to the big city to achieve her dreams. While life takes both the friends down separate paths, but in an unusual twist of fate, they both, get married to the same man. How their lives get evolved thereafter will form the crux of the story.
- How different is your character Neeti from the previous characters that you have played so far on television and how similar is Neeti from Tanvi? My character Neeti in this show ‘Parineetii’ is very different from all the characters that I have portrayed previously on television. Her dressing sense, her style, and the way she looks all these characteristics are different from the roles that I have played earlier. Neeti is a more confident and bold character who takes a stand for herself and fights for her loved ones. She rides a scooterthat has a nameplate that reads ‘patakha’. I am really loving this role and I hope I keep my fans entertained in this completely new avatar. About the similarity part, both Neeti and I are cheerful, bubbly, and career-oriented in our lives. Just like Neeti, I also love talking to people and keeping everyone happy around me. I take a stand for all the right things and always keep my point of view at the forefront.
- Tell us about your bond with your co-actors especially Anchal Sahu who is playing the role of your best friend in the show. It has hardly been 10 days yet since we have started shooting and I would say I am lucky to have Anchal and Ankur as my co-actors. We had our own set of impressions about each other when we first met during the mock shoot, and they are like my best friends now. I love how Anchal laughs at all my jokes and Ankur joins me in having fun at the sets. Both the actors are super talented I am learning many things from them everyday.
- Tell us something about your character. I’m playing the role of Neeti, a simple yet attractive girl who always conforms to the ideals of her family. She is always respectful towards the elderly and finds it her moral duty to always obey them and never follow their wishes and desires.
- Why did you choose this show? I found the script very interesting. With the preferences of audiences changing so quickly, it has become challenging to create content in the modern age. But with this show, I was immediately intrigued through its fresh storyline, and I hope that we create a show that resonates with the audience. To be a part of a Ekta Kapoor show has always been a dream for me and I am so glad that I am able to live it through this show!
- What do you have to say about your association with COLORS? I have always wished to be a part of a COLORS’ show. I feel that COLORS has always presented viewers with shows that they love and enjoy filled with drama, excitement, and entertainment. It is extremely thrilling to be a part of this family and I look forward to continuing this association for years ahead.
- What message do you want to give to our readers/viewers? If you love shows filled with drama, love, friendship, and twists, ‘Parineetii’is a must watch! I hope for this show as well, audiences will love my character and be supportive of this concept! We are very excited to see what they think of the show on this new journey.
