‘SAMARTH Trust organized Sri Anandashankar Memorial Lecture’ to celebrate the birth centenary of Sri Anandashankar Pandya. Sri Anandashankar Pandya was a renowned social worker who dedicated 75 years to social awareness and awakening. To keep the torch of social awareness burning, the trust has organized this annual lecture and instituted the ‘Sri Anandashankar Pandya Lifetime Achievement Award’ for contribution to social awakening.
This year the Lifetime Achievement award has been given to Shri Ram Naresh Prasad Singh, eminent writer and former Officer of Intelligent Bureau. Through his writings, Shri Singh unveiled several unknown aspects of history which are essential for our social awakening and presented to society.
Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, Governor of Kerala, while delivering Shri Anadashankar Pandya Memorial Lecture – “National Education: National Security” said ” India is one of the five civilizations in the world and known as the knowledge centre. The traditiona knowledge should be reignited in the country as it helps to prosper in all aspects of life”
Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, in his speech, mentioned Shri Anandashankar Pandya as ” A prolific writer who kept on writing throughout his life and his writings were dedicated to the country and its development”
Sri Anandshankar Pandya (26 May 1922 – 10 Nov 2021) took part in the freedom struggle in the year 1942 and had great concern for the wellbeing of the country. He was a graduate of Banaras Hindu University. As a journalist, he authored several books.
Sri Anandshankar Pandya was the founder-patron of the SAMARTH trust. The trust envisions creating a chain of patriotic individuals who are selfless and hardworking for the cause of the motherland. SAMARTH wants to build a strong organization through which all national problems will be solved.
Mera Samarth Bharat movement of the trust aims to focus on the holistic development of the child by inculcating ethics and values along with academic with scalable programmes.
