- What made you sign-up for Khatron Ke Khiladi 12? In my opinion, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ is one of the best reality shows of India. In fact, I wanted to do the show earlier as well, but unfortunately it always clashed with my other commitments. This time things worked out in terms of scheduled and here I’m shooting in Cape Town for the show. What has always drawn me to Khatron Ke Khiladi is that being a stunt-based show, it is full of adventures. I am someone who loves going out and being adventurous like going for hikes and playing different sports. That was the main reason why I was inclined to be on the show.
- What fears do you have? And how are you overcoming them? I don’t have any fears, I’m not scared of animals or heights or water. This season the show has become very competitive, and all the contestants are brilliant. But for me, it’s always me versus me. I’m here just to prove to myself, not to anyone else. I want to prove myself that I can do all these things. I’m just taking it as it comes.
3. How does it feel to showcase a different side of you from being a judge of a dance reality show to a contestant in a stunt-based reality show? No, I think the most important thing is to be yourself. I don’t need to show any different side to me. I think whatever I am, people will see how I behave, how I interact, how I perform in challenges and meet new people. There are some lovely contestants this year and I’m getting along with many of them, and I think the way I am in my real life; people will get to see that.
4. What are your future plans? Right now, the only plan is ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, to go as far as possible in the show and give my best. After that, I am going to write a script for a movie, and I am going to work on it. I want to direct it soon.
5. Who are you closest to on the show? I get along with Nishant very well, we have known each other for a very long time. I also get along with Sriti. So, any task in which the three of us are together, we are very confident, and our banter just goes on.
6. Are you learning anything new from your fellow contestants? To be very honest, I think they are all very competitive. When I came here, I thought I would be very good at the tasks since I have a dancing background and I have a strong core but everyone here is giving their 200 per cent. No one is backing out. You won’t believe it, in the first eight episodes, there was not a single abort! I think this has happened for the first time in the history of the show that for the first eight episodes, not even a single person aborted the task. It says a lot about the kind of contestants we have on the show.
