The wait is over! Jio Studios’ foray into Gujarati cinema begins with a multi starrer family-comedy – Vaahlam Jaao Ne which will release in theatres on 4th November 2022. The film stars supremely talented actors Pratik Gandhi and Deeksha Joshi, along with the stalwarts of Gujarati cinema – Tiku Talsania, Sanjay Goradia, Kevin Davey, Jayesh More, Kinjal Pandya and Pratap Sachdev. Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the film’s music has been scored by successful composer duo Sachin-Jigar who have composed multiple hit tracks for Hindi and Gujarati cinema. Produced by Parth Gajjar and Poonam Shroff, the story has been penned by Rahul Patel. Vaahlam Jaao Ne is a complete family entertainer which will tickle the funny bone of everyone – from young teens to youth and even grandparents are sure to enjoy it. Vaahlam Jaao Ne takes us through the story of the protagonist Sumit Gandhi (Pratik Gandhi) who is a music director in love with Reena (Deeksha Joshi), a fashion designer who wants to be stylist to film star Ranveer Singh. Sumit Gandhi is a new victim of love, but he does not see himself having a future without his love Reena. One fine day Reena’s father a rich NRI businessman comes to India to meet Sumit’s family and there unfolds multiple twists as the story moves forward.
On playing the lead protagonist, talent powerhouse Pratik Gandhi says, “Vaahlam Jaao Ne is a perfect romantic drama with a mix of comedy of errors which will keep audiences glued to their seats. It’s a wholesome family entertainer and the ensemble cast has made sure with their comic timing that everybody in the theatre will enjoy the movie and there will be laughter unlimited. I had great fun shooting with the entire team and I am sure the audience too will be equally entertained”
Speaking on her role, Deeksha Joshi adds, “When I was approached by Vaahlam Jaao Ne producers, I had no second thoughts but to get on board with such a great ensemble cast. Our director Hardik Gajjar has brought out great chemistry between me and Pratik and our fans will love watching us on the big screen. Hardik Gajjar, director, says “After the 2 successful high-on-emotional-Hindi films, I wanted to do a film in my native language, Gujarati. That’s when I came across the Vaahlam Jaao Ne script, which is full of roller coaster of entertainment. I am lucky to have a bunch of talented actors in my first Gujarati film, and, as a director, I couldn’t have asked for more. My entire team has made this film a perfect family entertainer to enjoy it on the big screen. I am happy and nervous at the same time.
