Ahmedabad: Writing is a very beautiful art and that too it is very remarkable to show the art of writing in a film. The main base of any film is its script. Originally from Surendranagar but settled in Vapi, Gujarat, Vipul K. Rawal is making his mark in Bollywood with his writing skills. The movie “Mission Raniganj” is based on a true story. 34 years ago in November 1989, a major coal mine accident in Raniganj, West Bengal rocked the entire country. This was the deadliest coal accident ever, in which Jaswant Singh Gill, an engineer from Amritsar, single-handedly saved 65 people from death. ‘Mission Raniganj – The Great Bharat Rescue’ tells the story of this accident. Parineeti Chopra is playing the role of Jaswant Singh Gill’s wife in this film.
“Mission Raniganj – The Great Bharat Rescue” is a rescue cervical mission film featuring top-notch actors like Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra and Ravi Kishan. Vipul Rawal said about this, “It is very difficult to make a film based on a true story in which you have to make the society aware of the true facts. For the story of this film, I went to Amritsar and visited Jasamwatsinh Gill and learned about the Samar incident. Also went to Raniganj The laborers there, the eye witnesses and most of the people connected with the incident got to know them and took their recordings.”
Vipul Rawal took about 5-6 months to screenplay this story. They are fully confident that the audience will love this film and like Rustom, this film will also reach the peak of success on the silver screen. Vipul Rawal has also written a book on screenplay writing “Film Ki Kahani Kaise Likhen”. Apart from this, he also served in the Indian Navy at one time. Currently he is living in Mumbai.
