New York, USA – The Sanjay Parikh Memorial Trust, a distinguished institution dedicated to preserving and promoting cultural heritage, marked its successful foray into the United States with the grand inauguration of Bharat Mahotsav in New York City. This landmark event, which took place from August 25th to 28th, 2023, was a remarkable blend of cultural festivities and intellectual exploration.
Bharat Mahotsav, a renowned cultural extravaganza, unfolded over four dynamic days, seamlessly blending celebration and intellectual enrichment. The event began with a captivating inaugural ceremony at the esteemed United Nations Headquarters, featuring intellectually stimulating discussions on subjects such as ecological restoration and holistic well-being. The launch of the book titled ‘BHARAT RISING OF VISHWA GURU,’ authored by Dr. Vivek Singh, offered a comprehensive exploration of Prime Minister Modi’s vision, strategies, and policies that have shaped India’s global role. An evening networking dinner hosted at the Consulate General of India in New York saw Milan Parikh & CA Heman Parikh meet the honorable Consul General, Mr. Randhir Jaiswal.
The second day, held at the iconic Times Square, was the highlight of the event, where outstanding achievers received the prestigious Swadeshi Samman Award. The atmosphere resonated with musical brilliance, featuring captivating performances by talented young children and renowned artists, including Amruta Devendra Fadnavis, Sandip Soparrkar, Simran Ahuja, Avitesh Srivastava, Josh Moreland, Chef Vikas Khanna, and others. Honorable Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture & Member of Parliament, Meenakshi Lekhi, shared her heartfelt message through a special video. The concluding day witnessed the Confluence of Ganga to Hudson, symbolizing global peace and happiness. An aarti ceremony filled the air with divine energy, followed by the distribution of prasad.
