Set in picturesque locations of Rajasthan, COLORS’ presents ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’ a tale that unravels the journey of Bulbul and Veer who are as disparate as chalk and cheese but have intertwined destinies. Bulbul is a lively young girl who follows what her mother tells her to do. She is underage but unaware of this fact completely. On the other hand, Veer, an honest IPS Officer, firmly opposes deceit in any form. Bulbul doesn’t know that her parents have concealed her true age. Meanwhile, Veer, a crusader against underage marriages, unknowingly marries Bulbul, not knowing that she is a minor. Will love find its way into this seemingly loveless marriage amid the backdrop of deception and destiny?
- Tell us something about the show ‘Mera Balam Thanedaar’. :- Mera Balam Thanedaar narrates the love story of Veer, an honest IPS Officer, and Bulbul, a carefree student who believes lying for a good cause is Owing to their contrasting principles, they face challenges after getting married, without knowing that Bulbul is a minor. The couple’s journey unfolds with hidden truths, conflicting principles, and an extraordinary path of love.
- Tell us about your character in the :- I’ll be seen essaying the role of Bulbul, who pays heed to everything her mother says. She is a bubbly and young woman who thinks that lying for a noble cause is She is naïve and she trusts people easily. She believes that everyone has a good heart. She loves her family and to save her family’s reputation she marries Veer. As a result, she is dealing with the pressure of adhering to social expectations and being an ideal wife and daughter-in-law.
- Why did you say yes to the show and the character? :- I said yes to it because it offered a unique and engaging love story. The journey of Bulbul and Veer is a love story of two individuals with different principles coming Additionally, the show brought the opportunity to work with veteran and talented actors. I can’t wait for viewers to witness this one-of-a-kind tale that explores the depths of love.

What was your reaction to seeing all the appreciation? :- Being part of Mera Balam Thanedaar has been an incredible experience, and witnessing the teaser’s positive reaction is truly amazing. How did you prepare for the role Bulbul? How different is it from the roles you played earlier? :-My character has different shades. From being a bubbly girl to getting married for her family’s reputation, she is going through a lot. I read up a little on the issue of underage marriages and paid attention to the local dialect of Rajasthani people. I want to make sure that my portrayal looks as authentic as possible.
- What is your bond with your co-actors? :- Working alongside immensely talented actors like Shagun Pandey, Neelu Vaghela, Aastha Chaudhary, and Rishi Khurana has been an exhilarating and enriching experience. The dedication they bring to the project inspires me. Veer is a very supportive co-actor, and he keeps me on my toes. I can’t wait to know what the viewers think of us as a fresh pair.

How was your experience shooting in Rajasthan? :- I love winters and this one is quite special to me because of my sojourn in Rajasthan. I have been shooting in Rajasthan, one of the most vibrant states of India. I remember shivering at times while shooting for the show, but now my body has adapted to the weather. I can’t get enough of this state’s beauty and sampling its local cuisine is on my to-do list everyday
