10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, 2024 embracing the theme of ‘Gateway to the Future’ governed by the leadership of the country’s visionary, successful and respected Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi and efficient Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupednrabhai Patel witnessed a historic Thursday for the world of sports in Gujarat, when the Indus University entered into signing up MoUs worth Rs 151 Cr at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
Under the guidance of the dynamic youth leader, Honorable Shri Harshbhai Sanghviji, alongwith the support of Principal Secretary Shri Ashwini Kumar (IAS), the Director General of Sports Authority of Gujarat Shri R.S. Neenama (IAS) and Dr. Nagesh Bhandari signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) worth Rs. 151 crore at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2024 today.
It was aimed at developing specific skills in the field of sports to encourage excellence in the field of sports and ensure that the youth of Gujarat get an outstanding position in the field of sports at the mega upcoming Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and at the Khel Mahakumbh.
In order to achieve the distinct results in the field of sports, state of art Sports Complex envisaging international standards and top class training of athletes and other sports persons, as well as sports health management facilities, introduction of various graduate and post graduate professional courses in the field of sports are scheduled to be launched in the coming years.
This will provide employment and business opportunities to more than 7000 people. On this occasion, Secretary of Sports Authority of Gujarat, Shri I. R. Dr. Vala(GAS), President of Indus University Ritu Bhandari, Board of Governance, Member Dr. Dhruven V. Shah, Registrar Dr. R. K. Singh and Dean Radhika Bhandari remained present.
Indus University will be a partner in making “Ramshe Gujarat – Jeetshe Gujarat” a reality and adding the feather of Excellence in Sports of the dynamic state of Gujarat in the successive years.
