Hindi cinema music cannot be imagined without Mohammad Rafi’s voice. There is also a wonderful world of songs based on his classical music. As part of his 100th birth anniversary, a musical program “Saaz Aur Awaaz” was recently organized by Heart Foundation and Research Center and Ark Events at Pandit Deendayal Hall. The entire musical program was organized by Ark Events founder Dr. Managed by Mithali Nag.
International versatile singer Dr. Mitali Nag mesmerized everyone present with her melodious voice. Along with him, Prasanna Rao, a famous singer from Mumbai who is also known as Voice of Rafi Sahab, supported him fully. The entire program was anchored by Sudeep Mukherjee. It is worth mentioning that this wonderful musical program was supported by the Commissioner of Youth Services & Cultural Activities.
The evening was enlivened by melodious songs by the singers in this musical extravaganza. With Republic Day also approaching, patriotic songs were performed along with Mohammad Rafi’s song. Mohammad Rafi’s song Janam – Janam Ka Saath Hai, Lata Mangeshkar’s song Tum Mujhe Yuh Bhulla Na Paoge and the patriotic song Jahan Dal Dal Par Soneki etc. were the highlights of the event. Mitesh Desai and his team’s orchestra performed amazing in this program.
In the program, the nominated guests of the city such as Municipal Councilor and Standing Committee Chairman Mr. Devangbhai Dani, Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah from Heart Foundation, Mr. Ghanshyam Bhai Amin, Dr. Bina Patel and eminent citizens were present.
Something different from a concert, the program became musical with these melody songs and was highly appreciated by the audience.
