Ahmedabad, January 13, 2025: The vibrant International Kite Festival 2025 in Ahmedabad witnessed a spectacular start today with the presence of the star cast and crew of the much-anticipated Gujarati film Faati Ne?. Organized by Gujarat Tourism, the International Kite Festival is one of the state’s most celebrated events, drawing thousands of people from across the globe.
The Faati Ne? team, including actors Hitu Kanodia, Smit Pandya, Mona Thiba Kanodia, Aakash Zhala, and Hemin Trivedi, brought an infectious energy to the festival. They participated in kite flying, mingled with the crowd, distributed kites to media and audiences, and posed for photos. The team led the festivities by dancing on their recently released song Aagho Khas, spreading joy and excitement among attendees.
Hitu Kanodia made a heartfelt appeal to celebrate Uttarayan safely and encouraged festival-goers to play the recently launched song Aagho Khas from the film during their celebrations. He highlighted how the song perfectly captures the essence of Gujarat’s festive kite-flying culture with its energetic music and relatable lyrics.
Smit Pandya, addressing the audience, invited everyone to watch the film in theaters, playfully teasing that “everyone will only have one question – Faati Ne?”
The event was graced by the film’s director Faisal Hasmi, producers Shaishav Prajapati, Prakash Sawant, Hardik Gohel and Fenil Dave—who is also the writer—of Canus Films, along with presenter Sharad Patel of SP Cinecorp. Sharing their enthusiasm, they spoke about Faati Ne?’s unique narrative and the excitement of delivering fresh storytelling to Gujarati cinema. They urged audiences to experience the film in theaters, promising a memorable cinematic journey.

Faati Ne?, directed and written by Faisal Hashmi and written by Fenil Dave, is presented by SP Cinecorp in association with Sun Outdoors.
