Ahmedabad: Dolby Atmos Music is a revolutionary audio experience that goes beyond the limitations of stereo. It allows artists to place individual sounds in a 3D space, making music feel more spacious, layered, and emotionally engaging. Whether you’re listening on a smartphone, headphones, soundbar, or in your car, Dolby Atmos surrounds you with sound, just the way the artist intended. It is available on platforms like Apple Music and Gaana plays across a wide range of Dolby-enabled devices. The event was attended by Sameer Seth – Dolby – Director, Marketing India, Jay Rana – Dolby, Marketing, Nirmal (from Compass Box Studio), Raag Sethi – (Founder, Compass Box Studio), Siyaahi, MTV Hustle and Acharya (Music Producer).
To bring this innovation closer to the creative community, Dolby hosted a hands-on experience at Compass Box Studios in Ahmedabad – a Dolby Atmos-enabled music studio. The experience gave a select group of musicians, content creators, and media a walkthrough of how Atmos music is mixed, produced, and brought to life. From vocals and instruments to ambient effects, the studio allows every sonic element to be positioned with cinematic precision.
As part of the session, MTV Hustle artist Siyaahi created a song called First Day Out in the studio using Dolby Atmos, demonstrating how sound can now move and breathe with emotion and intention.
“As an artist, working in Dolby Atmos opens up a whole new dimension of storytelling through music,” said Siyaahi. “I can now place my voice and instruments exactly where I want the listener to feel them. It’s not just about sound anymore – it’s about creating an emotional landscape that surrounds and moves with you.”
