The sensational semi finale of COLORS’ ‘Laughter Chefs Unlimited Entertainment’ cooked up more than just food with the arrival of television’s most beloved bahus, bringing the recipe of a fun-filled feast. The hilarity kicked off before a single stove was lit. Krushna Abhishek, known for his comic curveballs, pulled his signature prank right off the bat, dragging Sudesh Lehri straight out of his car and onto the set, still in his home clothes. What followed was unhinged laughter! While celebrity contestants were still recovering from the whiplash of this stunt, singer Altaf Raja, the king of heartbreak anthems in the 90s, entered. But this time, he wasn’t there to mourn lost love; he sprung a nostalgic surprise by delivering a brand-new musical that captured the cooking journeys and quirks of the celebrity contestants with his vocals.
Stirring up full-on entertainment, television’s favourite bahus Divyanka Tripathi, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Isha Malviya, Shraddha Arya, and Eisha Singh, graced the kitchen, owning the floor like it was their sasural. With music blaring and laughter echoing, they danced their way in and immediately stole the spotlight. Making it clear that this was no guest appearance, but a bahu takeover, the daily soap queens rolled up their sleeves and leapt into the culinary hungama. They paired up with the jodis to prepare a semi-finale treat — starting with the tricky Bhel Puri Papdi Cone, followed by the confusing combo of Puttu and Vegetable Ghasi.
Isha Malviya got emotional recalling her chaotic Bigg Boss kitchen days with Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, while Aly Goni couldn’t resist pulling Divyanka’s leg about her pitiful culinary skills. And just when you thought this episode couldn’t handle more spice, Samarth Jurel, Isha, and Abhishek Kumar decided to turn the semi-finale into a dance-off, breaking into an impromptu jig on Isha’s viral hit Ek Number. Within seconds, the entire Laughter Chefs family, including all the bahus, joined the party, turning the kitchen into a full-blown dance floor. With the competition simmering at full boil, who will survive the semi finale showdown to claim their spot in the grand finale?
Eisha Singh adds, “Laughter Chefs is unlike any other offering on television! I’ve followed the show, laughed along with it, rooted for my favourites, and secretly wished I could one day be in that kitchen, cooking or rather experimenting with ingredients. That ‘one day’ finally arrived and what a ride it was! I was teamed up with Krushna and Kashmeera, and from the get-go, it was a blast! Krushna had us all doubled over with laughter, cracking one-liners, while Kashmeera was on a secret mission to steal ingredients. Beneath all the jokes and jabs, there was so much warmth. This show doesn’t feel like a competition it feels emotional, personal, and so full of heart. For me, the bahu takeover wasn’t about cooking perfectly it was about being in the moment, surrounded by people who make you laugh.”
Isha Malviya says, “Coming back to COLORS always feels like returning to a place that’s seen so many versions of me as an actor, as a person, and as someone constantly evolving. So when the chance came to be part of Laughter Chefs for the semi-finale, I didn’t think twice. It was about reconnecting with old friends, reliving memories, and creating new ones. I had so much fun recreating the hook step to my new song Shaky Shaky with the LC cast. They gave it their all, even if coordination wasn’t exactly their strong suit, and we couldn’t stop laughing through it all. Cooking with Ankita and Vicky instantly transported me back to our Bigg Boss kitchen days. We were reminded of those chaotic mornings, last-minute meals, and the way we somehow managed to feed ourselves despite the confusion. That same camaraderie came alive again here. What struck me most was seeing everyone in such a different avatar — actors known for their intensity or comic timing now playfully fumbling through recipes, dancing between tasks, and enjoying every second. That’s the magic of this show that has created a space where you can just be yourself.”
