Ahmedabad: Sshivaay Production organized a special dance workshop in Ahmedabad with renowned young choreographer Keyur Vaghela. The workshop was held at The Link, 504, Vijay Cross Road, Navrangpura, and offered dance enthusiasts an opportunity to learn a wide range of styles including hip-hop, contemporary, fusion, Bollywood, garba, freestyle and break dance. It is noteworthy that Sshivaay Production operates as a professional acting, dancing and modeling institute for more than 15 years. The organization also provides a platform for aspiring artists to enter the entertainment industry by offering access to national and international trainers. Keyur Vaghela’s journey in dance is truly inspiring. A native of Rajkot and a self-trained artist, Keyur has won over 85 awards and continues to make Gujarat proud on national and international stages. His training, which began by learning from YouTube videos, eventually led him to prominent shows such as Dance+3, Dance Deewane, Naach Meri Saath, and the international event “Your Moment” held in Manila. His victory at the World Dance Cup 2018 (Hip-Hop Division) and his selection as an Indian qualifier for World of Dance 2021 stand as significant milestones in his career.
In recent years, his international journey has gained further momentum. In 2024, after winning the Dance Deewane UK auditions, he earned the honour of performing on the Indian stage in front of Madhuri Dixit and Suniel Shetty. During his UK tour, he was selected as one of only four dancers to perform alongside popular artist Karan Aujla. After becoming a World of Dance finalist in Switzerland in 2024, Keyur went on to secure 4th place among the world’s top dancers at the World of Dance event held in London in 2025, marking a major achievement in his career.
His presence in the film industry has also been steadily growing. Keyur has worked as a dancer in films such as Abir Gulaal, Sardaarji 3 and Mastiii 4. Alongside his artistic pursuits, he has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing an MBA in the UK, making his dedication to both art and education truly exceptional.
Keyur’s creativity, positive outlook, unique interpretation of music and spiritual connection make him not only an outstanding performer but also an inspiring mentor. Under his guidance, many students have achieved success at national and international levels.
