Nomad Hilux and ‘Radhe Tourism’ are set to write a new chapter in the fields of adventure and tourism. On January 10th, a grand expedition titled the ‘Kutchh Rann Utsav Hilux Expedition’ flagged off from Club 07 in Ahmedabad at 6:00 AM. The visionaries behind this massive event are the Nomad Hilux Group and Naran Gadhvi of Radhe Tourism, who has been active in Kutch tourism for the last 8 years. Having guided over 10,000 people through the rugged terrains of Kutch, Gadhvi specializes in managing niche events for bikers, artists, and photographers.
In a first for Indian history, nearly 50 Toyota Hilux vehicles will travel together on a 1500-kilometer long journey. The primary objective behind this initiative is to bring together Hilux owners from across India and provide them with an unforgettable experience of the culture and geographical diversity of Kutch. The organizers emphasize that this is not merely an attempt to set a record, but a genuine blend of ‘joy’ and ‘adventure.’
Expressing his excitement regarding the event, Naran Gadhvi, Founder of Radhe Tourism, stated that this is not just a convoy of vehicles, but a confluence of Kutch’s identity and the spirit of adventure. He noted that the goal is for Hilux owners coming from all over India to witness the beauty of the White Rann and the ‘Road to Heaven’ firsthand, thereby promoting Gujarat tourism globally. He added that they aim to create history with safety and discipline, ensuring the event remains a milestone in the world of tourism for years to come.
The expedition will specifically traverse iconic locations such as the ‘Road to Heaven,’ the White Rann, and the ‘Bhuj Canyon.’ These spots were chosen to showcase the stunning landscapes of Gujarat and Kutch to the pan-India travel community. Participants will also have the opportunity to join the Kite Festival organized at Dholavira and enjoy an exhilarating safari across the White Rann. The event aims to bring to life the famous slogan: “Kutch Nahi Dekha Toh Kuch Nahi Dekha”.
Given the scale of the event, specialized security and safety measures have been implemented. Eight marshal teams and four traffic management teams will be operational throughout the route. To handle any technical issues, two backup vehicles and a dedicated medical team for immediate treatment will be on standby. Furthermore, visits to sensitive border areas, such as the ‘Last West Point of India’ (Koteshwar/Lakhpat), will be conducted with strict discipline.
