Ahmedabad: In an inspiring gathering of industry stalwarts, policy leaders, and financial experts at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), distinguished Chartered Accountant and policy practitioner CA Naresh Kella officially launched his highly anticipated book, India: A Nation Rising: Building Today. Empowering Tomorrow. Grounded in over three decades of high-level experience across governance, finance, and trade, the book serves as both a compelling testimony to India’s remarkable economic transformation and an actionable practitioner’s blueprint for its future trajectory. During the launch, Kella highlighted the core philosophy driving his work, emphasizing that when governance, finance, and innovation converge, growth is not merely accelerated—it becomes unstoppable.
Unlike conventional economic analyses written from an outsider’s lens, India: A Nation Rising reflects the author’s direct hands-on participation in shaping India’s growth story from the ground up. From his early appointments as a Member of the National Economic Advisory Committee of ICAI and Director of Rajkot Nagarik Sahakari Bank in 2014, to his leadership roles championing MSMEs as Secretary, President, and Vice Chairman of the Zalawad Federation of Trade & Industries, Kella has consistently anchored his expertise in both national policy and grassroots financial realities. His career further spans serving as an Independent Director at Power Finance Corporation Limited, Member of the Gujarat State Fee Regulation Committee, Chair of the All India Sugar Trade Taxation Committee, and Convenor of the Gujarat State BJP Chartered Accountants Cell, where he has dedicated himself to aligning professional financial expertise with national governance priorities.
Addressing the audience at the event, CA Naresh Dhanraj Kella shared that India’s finest chapter will be written by those who connect vision with execution, ambition with discipline, and policy with results. He explained that the book was conceived not as a passive observer’s chronicle, but as an engaged participant’s testimony to what the nation has built and a roadmap for where it must go next. The event sparked dynamic panel discussions on how professional expertise can shape democratic governance, the strategic importance of ecosystems like GIFT City and international trade agreements, and the vital role local traders and MSMEs play in sustaining long-term national momentum.
