COLORS’ Dhamaal With Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check’ is back with a fresh line-up of celebrity couples, bigger challenges and a whole new dose of relationship drama! After making a mark with its first season, the show returns to put some of television’s much-loved jodis through the ultimate reality check, bringing their real-life chemistry, nok-jhok, quirks and secrets to the forefront. Joining this exciting new panga are Deepika Singh and Rohit Raj Goyal, who are all set to make their first-ever television reality show appearance together as a couple and give audiences an up-close look at their equation beyond the screen.
Deepika and Rohit’s love story began on the sets of a television show in 2011, where Rohit was the director and Deepika was a debutant actor. What started as a professional relationship gradually blossomed into friendship, mutual respect and eventually love, leading to their marriage in May 2014. Over the years, the couple has grown together through their individual careers, marriage and parenthood, welcoming their son Soham in 2017. Now, after more than a decade of marriage, they are stepping into the reality-show space together for the first time. With Deepika’s spirited and expressive personality meeting Rohit’s calm and grounded demeanour, their equation promises plenty of banter, nok-jhok and unfiltered moments. After knowing each other for over 15 years, the real panga will be finding out whether that familiarity becomes their biggest strength or gives them even more reasons to pull each other’s leg!
Deepika Singh shares, “COLORS has always felt like a second home to me, and after my journey with ‘Mangal Lakshmi’, I’m really happy to be coming back to the platform once again. After spending so much time playing Mangal and being part of her world, it feels exciting to now make the transition from fiction to non-fiction and let audiences see the real Deepika. This time, I’m returning to the platform with my husband Rohit by my side, which makes the experience even more special. Audiences have seen me in my onscreen roles, but through ‘Dhamaal With Pati Patni Aur Panga’, they will get to see my real personality, my life with Rohit and what our marriage is actually like beyond the screen. We have shared so many years, phases and experiences together, and this is the first time we are bringing that real-life equation to viewers. Rohit Raj Goyal shares, “Deepika and I have spent more than a decade building a life together, and in that time, we’ve seen each other evolve through so many phases. We’ve gone from a professional relationship to friendship, marriage and parenthood, so there is a certain comfort and understanding between us. I have spent most of my career behind the camera, directing and creating stories, so stepping in front of the camera and participating in a reality show as a contestant is a completely new experience for me. Doing this alongside Deepika makes it even more special, but I’m also curious to see how well we know each other when we are put through challenges and situations we cannot script or control. There will definitely be plenty of leg-pulling, disagreements and laughter along the way, and I’m excited to share this side of our relationship and show the audience what Deepika and I are really like as a couple.”
