The much-anticipated Gujarati web series “Karmant” has successfully wrapped up its shoot. This suspense-thriller brings a fresh edge to Gujarati entertainment, with a gripping storyline centered on the investigation of mysterious murders of women in the city.
Produced under the banner of Four Friends Films by Kalpesh Patel, Rahul Modi, Chintan Mehta, and Varsha R. Hingu, “Karmant” also has co-producers Aalap Shah and AMBI GRAMY (Parth Shukla, Premal Trivedi) on board. The series is directed by Vinit Pithadiya and promises to keep audiences hooked until the very end.
The ensemble cast includes Allok Thakar, Anshu Joshi, Archan Trivedi, Ravi Ranjan, Kartavya Shah, Himanshu Joshi, Darshan Lashkari, Soniya Valera, Vipul Panchal, Tejas Davda, Bipin Dave, Rutvik Patel, Ketan Chaudhari, Satyam Joshi, Himanshu Pathak, Kirtan Gharekhan and child artist Vihan Gandhi.
The story, idea, and concept of “Karmant” come from Rajesh P. Hingu, with screenplay and dialogues penned by Pruthvi Patil. Cinematography is handled by Hitarth Gajjar and Hirenkumar Patel, while editor is Bhaumik Gadhiya. Casting was done by Mohsin Khan Malek (MK Casting).

The plot follows an inspector who, during his investigation, stumbles upon a link leading to Prabhu Villa Old Age Home. Intriguingly, the murdered women’s families have elders residing there. This raises a haunting question could someone, harboring hidden resentment against the children or daughters-in-law who placed their parents in the old age home, be behind the murders? Is the culprit one of the elderly residents themselves or an outsider? The series unfolds this chilling suspense, keeping viewers guessing till the climax.
