Ahmedabad & Surat, August, 2021: HomeLane, India’s choice for on-time interiors, has entered the Gujarat market by setting up two HomeLane Studios in Surat and Ahmedabad, respectively. This is part of the Company’s strategic plan to expand its presence in the Western belt and across tier-II markets. HomeLane is investing nearly Rs 10 million to ramp up its retail presence in Gujarat and is expected to generate a revenue of Rs 800 million by FY23, from the State.
Commenting on its newly established business operations in Gujarat, Srikanth Iyer, Founder & CEO of HomeLane, said,“While the south continues to be a stronghold for HomeLane, our expansion into the West will mark the next phase of growth for us. Since consumers in Gujarat are not flamboyant, their preferences for home interiors are underplayed but the potential is tremendous. We are bringing to them organised, end-to-end home interiors services that are delivered safely and on-time.”
Commenting on the Gujarat market, Solomon Dheeraj Mudimala, VP Business of HomeLane said, “Our research in Surat and Ahmedabad indicates that homeowners are looking for quick home interior solutions with modern traditionalism. We are looking to close this gap by offering consumers value for money with a combination of modern concepts, regional design preferences and pocket-friendly prices, delivered within 45 days.”
The new HomeLane studios in Surat & Ahmedabad are compact, fully equipped spaces showcasing a wide variety of product options and modern display setups with a hint of local nuances. The Company is also expected to launch a couple more studios in these two cities over the next 2 years.
