Within just a short span of its premiere, COLORS’ ‘Fanaa – Ishq Mein Marjawaan’ has effortlessly captured everyone’s attention with its edge-of-the-seat drama and thrilling storyline. The presence of some remarkably talented actors including Zain Imam (who plays Agasthya), Reem Samir Shaikh (who plays Paakhi), and Akshit Sukhija (who portrays Ishaan) has equipped this show with other powerful star casts; and now it’s about to get stronger! Renowned actor Krip Suri is all set to join this cast as Inspector Virat Singh, an intense police officer. Although Virat is a highly smart and honest policeman, he has a flair to remain in the limelight and take all credit as a ladder to reach his ambitions. His loyalty isn’t for sale, and he takes it as an insult if anyone tries to bribe him. While he is always at forefront in his work life, his love life has taken a back seat. He is waiting to be successful enough to ask out the girl he loves.
Ahead of donning the role of Virat Singh, Krip Suri says, “I am very inclined towards cop characters, and I really loved how my character of Virat has been positioned in the show. It caught my attention immediately when I was given its narration. He is a complex character with a fascinating aura around him. While he is willing to do whatever it takes to become a successful cop and earn fame, he does not believe in turning dishonest along the way. Fanaa Ishq Mein Marjawaan is an intriguing show and I had really loved the promos of the show during its launch. I am glad to have gotten a role in this thrilling show.
