- Could you describe the character that you’re playing? My character’s name is Rahul. By nature, he is an extrovert and someone who believes in being happy and keeping everyone around him happy. He crosses path with Katha and thus begins their unusual tale. As the show progresses, it unravels many different shades of Rahul’s character that the viewers will like.
- What made you choose this role and how did you prepare for it? The concept and storyline of the show interested me the most. I was intrigued by Rahul’s character and his journey in the show. I had to undergo a physical transformation to prepare for the role and hence I decided to lose some weight too. I worked out a lot, as personally, I wanted Rahul to look lean and fit.
- How is this character different from the roles you have essayed in the past?
- This character is unlike anything I’ve ever played Rahul is a fascinating character to play because he has numerous shades, and it will be interesting to see his journey unfold throughout the show.
- This show will touch on the topic of single motherhood. What do you have to say about that? Single motherhood is unfortunately considered as a taboo in our society. Our show Muskuraane Ki Vajah Tum Ho will highlight a journey of a strong and resilient girl Katha who chooses single motherhood, to raise her child and give her own name which is extremely commendable.
- What would you say about your association with COLORS? COLORS has always been very close to me. I started my career with this channel, so I have a special connection with them.
