2022: Charitable Group of Photographic Trade and Industry Association (CGPTIA) is organizing the India International Photo Video Trade Fair. A grand trade fair is going to be held during 23-24-25 September 2022 at Helipad Ground, Gandhinagar.In which Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of Fujifilm India as Chief Guest and Mr. ArunBabu, General Manager of Electronic Imaging, Optical Devices and Instax Division, Senior Manager Mr. Ro Kanno, Mr. JitendraChag of Nikon, Fujifilm India Pvt. Ltd.’s Photo Imaging Division Vice President Mr. L Senthil Nathan, Panasonic India Business Chief Mr. Hardeep Singh Sarna and Gujarat Sony India Pvt. Ltd. Branch Manager Mr. NiravGohel will be present. Aakhar Exhibition Pvt Ltd is the exhibition partner in this event.
Charitable Group of Photographic Trade and Industry Association (CGPTIA) is formed by traders, distributors, importers and manufacturers of photography related products and services operating in Gujarat. CGPTIA organizes activities including exhibitions, education and training, welfare for photographers. CGPTI has been organizing the India International Photo Video Trade Fair continuously since 2011.
India International Photo Video Trade Fair organized by the Charitable Group of Photographic Trade and Industry Association aims to acquaint photographers with products and services and update them with new industry knowledge. India International Photo Video Trade Fair is organized every year by the association. This year the 10th edition of the exhibition is being organized at Helipad Ground, Gandhinagar from 23-24-25 September 2022. To make this trade fair a success, more and more people have been called upon by the CGPTIA team to visit the exhibition.
All major companies like Nikon, Fujifilm, Sony, Panasonic and others are participating in the exhibition. So the association already has 200+ exhibitors and expects 25 to 30000 photographers from across the country to visit the exhibition. Since such a large scale trade fair could not be organized in the last 2 years due to Covid, there is a wave of enthusiasm among photographers regarding the exhibition.
The additional funds collected from the exhibition are used for the welfare of photographers like imparting education, organizing creative and live workshops and acquiring more knowledge about enhancing the skills of photographers in Gujarat. Under which the association organizes educational workshops and imparts education and training on products, services and new software to photographers by expert faculties across the country.In addition, the association provides death benefits to the families of deceased photographers not exceeding 50 years of age, provided the photographer is a member of any photography association in Gujarat.
As all the photographers associated with the association are working hard to make their trade fair a success, it becomes very important that the trade fair gets global recognition. As social media platforms play an important role for this, CGPTIA is launching a website during this trade fair, and is also promoting its presence globally on various social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Facebook. The association will be the first in the country to adopt this kind of initiative.
