Makers of Gujarati film industry is also trying new genres, some makers are also working to take Gujarati films to a new and higher level. Many Gujarati films are shot not only outside Gujarat but also outside India. Shaishav Prajapati, Hardik Gohel and Prakash Sawant, Owners of Canus Films gave information about what is important in film making and how difficult it is to shoot outside our country.
The makers say, “Canus Films is a production house that we established in the year 2023. Under our production house they are coming up with 2 films “Fati ne?” & “Sevabhavi”.
Earlier we have produced many short films and web series. We want to give many good films to the viewers of Gujarati films. Our main objective is to provide entertainment to the viewers in any scenario. For this we are working on various topics and in “Fati Ne?” we fully hope that the audience’s expectations will rise from us after watching the film.”
It is worth mentioning that “Fati Ne?” It is a horror comedy film shot in Australia and is the first time in the history of Gujarati film industry that motion captured technology has been used in a Gujarati film. This technology is a part of VFX itself. Canus Films has completely taken care of the fact that the audience can get a taste of the Gujarati culture through the film even though they have to go outside Gujarat to shoot the film. The film has an overwhelming team of actors including Hitu Kanodia, Smit Pandya, Akash Jhala, Chetan Daiya.
Shaishav Prajapati, Hardik Goheland Prakash Sawant, owners of Canus Films say, “It is not easy to shoot outside our country. For this the rules of that country have to be followed. Working within a budget is becoming increasingly difficult. Are you torn? We have worked for the film for 1 year and 6 months. Everything from script to actors and promotion is important to make a film successful. Apart from this, word of mouth publicity also plays an important part.”
Today there are really watchable Gujarati movies being made and we all should motivate each other to watch these movies. Will it break in the future? Apart from this, 3 other Gujarati films including “Sevabhavi” are also coming under the banner of Canus Films. The movie “Sevabhavi” will soon be on the JoJo app and “Fati Ne?” will release in theatres soon. Apart from this, the movie “Jya Jya Wase Gujarati ” is also in the making.
