Ahmedabad: With just a few days left for Navratri, excitement among Garba enthusiasts is at its peak. To bring the festival alive in a refreshing way, Ahmedabad is set to witness the grand Maavdee Na Garba for the very first time at R. M. Patel Farm, S. G. Highway.
This unique celebration will offer the people of Ahmedabad a premium experience with its prime location, elite crowd, spacious venue, traditional and modern setups, and a royal ambiance décor. The Maavdee Na Garba will run for 12 days. The festivities begin with a Pre-Navratri celebration on September 20th and 21st, where, on September 20th, the famous singer Geeta Rabari – lovingly known as the “Koyal of Gujarat” – will enthrall the crowd with her Garba tunes. The special announcement of this 12-day Navratri event was made by organizer Jaydeep Makwana in the presence of Geeta Rabari, who shared her excitement about the blend of modern and traditional Garba. It is noteworthy that the Maavdee Na Garba Navratri celebration is being organized by enchant mj Event Pvt. Ltd. Mittal Gorana also shared insights on this Garba Event.
From September 22nd to October 1st, the main Garba festival will be held every evening from 8:30 PM to 12:30 AM, featuring performances by renowned singers. Following this, from 1:00 AM to 4:00 AM, participants will enjoy the beats of dhol and shehnai, relishing the charm of traditional Garba.
The highlight of Maavdee Na Garba is that it’s not just about photo zones or fancy décor – it is designed to let people truly experience the essence and tradition of Navratri. Organizer Jaideep Makwana shared, “We have chosen R. M. Patel Farm as our venue, which has a capacity of 15,000 to 20,000 people. This year, we are expecting more than 10,000 devotees and Garba lovers to participate. The specialty of Maavdee Na Garba is that it’s not just about dance and entertainment – it’s about creating an environment where people can genuinely feel the spirit of Navratri.
