Ahmedabad: For the first time in the history of Gujarati cinema, a heart-touching film based on the theme of Jeevdaya (compassion towards all living beings) — ‘JEEV’ — has begun its promotional campaign in a deeply spiritual and religious atmosphere. The film’s cast and crew sought the special blessings of the revered Jain Acharya, His Holiness Mahashramanji Maharaj Saheb, at his Ahmedabad residence.
On this auspicious occasion, the film’s lead actors Dharmendra Gohil and Sunny Pancholi, along with the entire team, were present to receive the Acharya’s blessings and officially commence the promotional activities. It is noteworthy that ‘JEEV’, which carries a profound message of compassion, is set to release on November 21.

The film is inspired by a true story based on the inspiring life and humanitarian work of Veljibhai Mehta, known for his lifelong commitment to Jeevdaya. The core intent of ‘JEEV’ is to awaken empathy and kindness towards all animals and birds within the hearts of people across all sections of society.
The film’s team expressed that beginning the promotions with Acharya Mahashramanji’s blessings is a matter of great honour, and they hope that ‘JEEV’ will bring about a positive transformation in society.
This inspiring and emotional film is set to release in theatres across Gujarat and other states on November 21.
