Ahmedabad: Inspired by a true story, the Gujarati film “Jeev” is set to release in cinemas across the state on December 12. The film presents a heart-touching narrative that encompasses values of humanity, compassion, and kindness towards all living beings.
The film is produced by Vivaan Films LLP. It is directed by Jigar Kapadi, with Nirav Mehta and Vicky Mehta serving as producers. The cast features Dharmendra Gohil in the lead, along with Sunny Pancholi, Shraddha Dangar, Yatin Karyakar, and Hemang Shah.
At the heart of the story is the character of Veljibhai Mehta — a man who dedicated his entire life to serving and caring for animals. The film reminds viewers of the importance of compassion, responsibility, and emotional connection towards nature and all living creatures.
“Jeev” is not just a film; it is a message that urges us to reflect on our duty and empathy towards nature and animals. In today’s self-centred world, the film makes us question whether we can truly understand the silent suffering of voiceless beings.
According to the makers,
“Jeev is a story that brings to light the invisible emotional bond between humans and animals. It inspires everyone to think with kindness and compassion towards all living beings.”
