Poster and launch video unveiled for first phase of landmark talent discovery initiative
March, 2026 – HYBE INDIA today announced the launch of the HYBE INDIA Audition, marking HYBE’s official entry into India’s talent ecosystem in an effort to expand its global artist discovery initiatives.
As part of HYBE’s globally proven ‘multi-home, multi-genre’ strategy, HYBE INDIA will localize the artist development approach—known for discovering, training, and building internationally successful acts—for India. With a legacy of shaping culturally resonant artists such as 21st-century pop icons BTS and global girl group KATSEYE, the company now sets its sights on India to discover and develop the next generation of global stars.
The HYBE INDIA Audition aims to identify aspiring music talent from India and the Indian diaspora. HYBE INDIA will offer a rare opportunity to selected applicants to enter the company’s world-class training and production ecosystem. Bringing together creative development, performance training, and global storytelling, the program is designed to nurture artists who can represent India on the global stage.
At its core, this effort reflects HYBE INDIA’s belief in the dynamic potential of Indian youth, with a vision to shape the next generation of Indian music and entertainment—blending authentic local talent with global expertise. The initiative is part of HYBE’s larger vision to empower aspiring artists from across the world toward global excellence. The audition’s launch video, unveiled alongside the official poster, captures this journey of talent culminating in a powerful call to step onto the global stage.
The audition will be conducted through a combination of online and offline formats, with in-person auditions planned across key cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.
The audition is presented in collaboration with leading global and national brands including H&M, Shoppers Stop, Samsung, and Nongshim. Snapchat and BookMyShow will join as Media and Ticketing Partners, respectively. Together, these partnerships will come to life through a series of integrated experiences—from on-ground pop-up activations and retail engagements to digital participation, designed to make the audition journey more exciting, accessible, and culturally resonant for young audiences.
Further details regarding audition timelines, eligibility, and participation guidelines will be announced soon across HYBE INDIA’s official platforms.
